Who We Are

The Center for Arts, Migration + Entrepreneurship (CAME) launched Afrofuturism Week (AFW) in 2024 to explore the intersections of creative expression, culture and technology. Held intentionally between Martin Luther King Day and Black History Month, AFW has grown into an annual event that highlights Afrofuturism as a lens for reimagining futures. CAME partners with artists, scholars, students and local organizations to host events featuring visual arts, performances, literature, music, digital media, and a signature fashion show.
