SPARC STEAM STATION:
STEAM Activities Pop-Up
We are excited to announce our new series of youth programming: Sparc STEAM Station, funded by the Alachua County Children’s Trust.
The first pop-up station will be at the Clarence R. Kelly Community Center on Saturday March 28th, from 12-2:30PM, hosted by Greater Duval Neighborhood Association. More dates to be announced.
Join us for a hands-on STEAM Pop-Up to experiment, build, design, and create at interactive activity stations created by local artists!
Activities will be primarily geared towards youth in middle school and up, younger children are welcome to participate with parent supervision. This event is free and materials are provided.
SPARC Presents at Imagining America

Members of our SPARC352 staff and community network traveled to the Imagining America National Gathering in Las Cruces, NM during October to share three presentations about how we have activated local artists and residents in Gainesville.
This unique event brings together scholars and artists to work across disciplines, institutions and communities to shirt cultural and societal structures.
