We Are SPARC: Partnership and Best Practices for Creative Placemaking and Community Wellbeing at the Center for Arts, Migration, + Entrepreneurship Innovations Summit 2025.

This panel explores the lessons, opportunities, and impacts of the SPARC model, highlighting the role of institutional partnership, arts programming, and best practices in community-engaged research to cultivate relationships that center creativity and community wellbeing.

A collection of three short films from the African Diaspora: “Pumzi”, “Afronauts”, and “Daughter of the Sea” that delve into Afrofuturism, migration and the fantastical, with community conversations led by a panel of UF faculty, Dr. Ariadna Tenorio, Dr. Abdoulaye Kane and filmmakers, Alexis Garcia and Nuotama Bodomo, moderated by Antoine Williams.
